iStock_000002357278Large (427x640)Meet Dawn, a “clean up” artist, and CEO of a large healthcare facility. My initial intent was to tell you her story, but decided that, with her permission, her telling her story in her own words would give you the clearest picture.

I remember as if it were yesterday when she said, “I gotta tell ya, I’m pretty skeptical. I’m not convinced you can help me.” So, I said, “Well, I understand that. So, here’s an idea. How about you give it a chance, we work together a few times, and then you decide if I’m really any help to you.” She agreed to the plan. Below, in her own words, are the results she received from our working together.

A year before meeting Mary Jane, I’d been hired to clean up one of our satellite hospitals and its healthcare clinics. Things needed to change fast and the hospital called on me to solve the problems. As usual, I was fueled by the challenge and soon had made remarkable progress. The result of my effort was massive change for the better in all areas. I accomplished what they’d expected and was ready to move on. That’s when I was confronted by a totally unexpected request – that I stay and become Director of Clinics. Ugh.
